Ingredients
2 ½ cups water
2 ½ cups rice
Seasoning:
4 tablespoons mild vinegar
3 tablespoons sugar
2 ½ teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons mirin
Preparation
- Wash the rice, soak it for 30 minutes.
- Bring water to boil, let it boil for 1-2 minutes
- Add rice and cook it on slow heat for about 15 minutes until, rice absorbs all the water
- Add all the seasonings, stir.
Serving:Use a wooden spoon. Put the rice in a bowl, fold it by mixing from the bottom up. Next add seasoning, stirring constantly until it becomes spongy.
Let it cool (in room temperature) under cover.
