Products which you shouldn’t link in a diet
It’s worth knowing, which commonly eaten products shouldn’t be linked together and what would be the consequences of doing so in our diets.
Cucumber with tomatoApparently the commonly used combination of these two vegetables is unfavourable. Fresh cucumber contains the ascorbic acid enzyme, which destroys vitamin C contained in the tomato. Even a few drops of the cucumber’s juice is sufficient to eradicate vitamin C contained in up to several kilos of tomatoes!
Cream cheese with tomato
The linking of cream cheese with tomato is damaging to our joints. Acids contained in the tomato which give them their specific taste, react with the calcium within cream cheese, causing deposits inside our joints. The frequent consumption such a food combination can lead to intense joint pains.

Fish with sunflower or corn oilFish is a valuable source of the unsaturated fatty acid omega 3, which aids the functioning of the nervous system, they have a positive effect on the joints and also increase resistance to cancers. However, sunflower and corn oils contain the fatty acid omega 6, which neutralises the activity of omega 3, enhancing the ageing process within the human body. We shouldn’t link them, e.g. by frying. Apart from this it’s much better to grill, steam or cook fish in the oven.

Wine with red meat
Beef, pork and the meat of the wild boar in combination with red wine might even lead to anaemia. The colouring contained in the wine, significantly limits the absorption of iron within the body. Red meat is the richest available source of this mineral substance.
Tea and cakeThe colourings contained in tea adversely affects the absorption of protein, also limiting the benefits of magnesium, calcium, copper, zinc and iron. The more intensely the tea is brewed, the greater the effects from the colouring. Yeast is a rich source of the B1 vitamin, which assists in the functioning of the nervous system, even tea cake is in this regard quite valuable. Unfortunately not together with tea, as the colouring effectively prevents the absorption of these minerals.
Potatoes with butterEach of these products alone doesn’t contain large amounts of calories, but together they produce a genuine calorific bomb. Potatoes are a source of carbohydrates, they have a high glycolic index and after eating them levels of glucose in the blood increase. This leads to the intestines producing large amounts of insulin to lower the glucose. Insulin is also essential for the functioning of fat cells and has a stimulating effect on them. Therefore we store almost all of the fat produced by this food combination.
