Pilates has been developed in the 20s of the XX century by Joseph H. Pilates as a safe rehabilitation program for sportsmen and dancers, who suffered injuries. The method is not only aimed at larger groups of muscles, but also at muscles you didn't even know you had. Pilates is a safe and effective way of working out.

Pilates allows us to take a different look at our bodies – when we work out our mind focuses on gaining control of the moves, on positioning the body in space
