Ingredients
100 g green lentils
3 pieces boned and fresh salmon
1 shallot
½ carrot chopped in cubes
1 garlic clove
3 black pepper grains
bay leaf
Sauce:
1 ½ tablespoons say sauce
1 tablespoon oil
a dash of ground ginger
a dash of powdered wasabi
shallot chopped in cubes
Marinate:
½ glass of water
¼ glass lemon juice
½ glass light soy sauce
a dash of ground ginger
a big dash of powdered wasabi
minced garlic clove
Preparation
- Stir marinate ingredients, then pour the mix over salmon and put it into the refrigerator to cool for a couple hours.
- Cook lentils with pepper grains, garlic and bay leaf, at the end add salt. after cooked lentils should remain firm.
- Cook the carrot for a moment in water, drain it, and then cool with cold water so that it remains firm.
- Mix lentils, carrot, shallot and sauce. Let sit for some time so that all flavours blend in.
- Remove salmon from marinate, dry it, cut it into thin slices.
Serving:Lay slices on a plate, top them up with lentil salad.
