Known since ancient times, a plant from the cabbage family, cultivated in Europe, America and Asia.

Contains beta-carotene, lutein, calcium, phosphorous, magnesium, iron and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C, E and K.
Valuable antioxidant
Due to its antioxidant properties kale has anti-cancer, strong anti-inflammatory qualities – protecting against sclerosis. Because it’s easily digestible, containing many mineral salts and vitamins it’s particularly recommended for the elderly and children.
Vegetable forerunner
To the end of the middle ages kale was a well known and commonly cultivated vegetable all across Europe. Today it’s a staple food for the Brazilians, Dutch, Portuguese, as well as for South Africans and the Japanese. It’s also used in the USA.
