Italian diet
We could write about the Italian cuisine for hour. It is full of exquisite recipes, but its uniqueness is hidden is in the style the Italians eat. They usually have their meals with friends and family, enjoying the meals, the dishes and wine.

Italian diet is also a lifestyle and the way you eat. We can learn from the Italians their joy of life. A few hints will help us here:
Treat every meal as something relaxing. Take it easy and treat it as a feast, when you can get away from it all.
After the meal go outside, take a walk with the people you shared your meal with. Talk, savour every moment – just like real Italians from the south do!

Pizza and vegetables
The popular pizza has its vegetable version. It is served with tomatoes, onions, olives and peppers.
Be physically active – go on bike rides, or go for a walk.
Get rid of the habit of eating in front of the TV or computer. Give up fast foods completely.
Whenever possible, use olive oil instead of regular oil.
You can indulge yourself in a piece of cake with coffee or cappuccino.
Lunch
For ladies it can be a piece of fruit or fruit juice, for men it can be a ham or fish sandwich.
Dinner
It comes in a couple of courses. First its is antipasti, which is a light snack – a few slices of melon, a piece of ham (usually in the summer) and crostini (in the winter) – small pieces of bread with mozzarella, mushrooms, onion, spinach or tomatoes, baked in an oven or cheeses. The main course consists of pasta and a choice of sauces. Then salad is served or vegetables prepared in various ways with a serving of meat or fish. Then dessert to top.
Tea
You can have your favourite fruit, yoghurt, milk desserts of a piece of pizza
Supper
This is a main meal. There should be steamed, cooked or fresh vegetables with a piece of meat, fish or cheeses. Bread should be served with no salt. You can have a glass of dry white or red wine.
