Apple vinegar, in contrast to the pure spirit-based variety, does not eliminate red blood cells. It is frequently used in the Tai cuisine and it represents the sour flavour. The acetic acid present in common vinegar causes anaemia, disturbs the digestive processes, and disrupts the proper process of food absorption. It causes cirrhosis and ulcerative colitis. Malic acid combined with alkalis and mineral substances creates glycogen; which helps rebuild red blood cells. It improves the condition of blood vessels, and regulates the menstrual cycle. It also has a high potassium content, which helps calm our nervous system; furthermore it regulates hormonal activity and retains calcium, iron, magnesium and silicon within our bodies.
