The rapid development of processed vegetable started in 1926 by Bonduelle

In 1853, Louis Bonduelle went into business in the food industry. With the passing of the generations, the company's initial activities (distilling, sugar refining, yeast making) evolved.
1926 marked the start of the vegetable preservation activity, with the first pea harvest. The rapid growth of this new activity would be crowned in 1957 with a huge commercial success: the peas and carrots mixture.

This spirit of innovation has remained with the company, which moved into frozen vegetable technology in 1968, then fresh vegetable technology at the end of the 1990s (bagged salads and delicatessen salads).
At the same time, Bonduelle has since the 1960s been expanding its activities internationally, both beyond France and overseas. The Bonduelle brand is currently present in over 80 countries.
The Bonduelle Group joined the Paris Stock Exchange's Second Market in 1998, establishing itself as a group with international scope present in all processed vegetable technologies and recognised by consumers for its creativity and the high quality of its products.
The Bonduelle Group celebrated its 150th anniversary in the food industry in 2003 and the 60th anniversary of the brand in 2007.
