Product description

There are many varieties of this famous Spanish soup, but the traditional recipe comes from Andalusia. Gaspacho, served according with tradition, is served in wooden bowl with wooden tablespoons. On hot days it is invaluable.

Ingredients

1,25 kg well ripe tomatoes
1 cucumber
1 onion
1 green pepper
2 garlic cloves
200 g white bread roll
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons wine vinegar
1 litre cold, previously boiled water
ice cubes
pepper, salt

Preparation
  • Wash vegetables thoroughly, skin tomatoes and cut them into cubes, deseed them. Peel the cucumber, deseed it and cut it into 1 cm cubes.
  • Chop onion finely. Puree garlic. Deseed pepper and chop it finely.
  • Stir half the vegetables with vinegar, oil, bread roll and cold water. Cover everything and put it into a refrigerator for 2 hours. Put the remaining vegetables into separate bowls and also refrigerate them.

Serving:Whip gazpacho before serving. Season with pepper and salt. Add a few ice cubes.
